The court of merits. Its authority to ascertain the true nature of the relationship, elucidate the meaning of agreements, and investigate the common intention of the parties to the litigation from the evidence and facts presented in the case, whenever it bases its judgment on sound reasons sufficient for its flesh and having an established basis in the case papers.
