The obligation to adhere to the legislative provision and refrain from contravening it, to give precedence to higher-ranking legislation over lower-ranking legislation where they conflict, and to apply the higher-ranking law and exclude the lower-ranking legislation from application if it conflicts with the higher-ranking legislation.

وجوب التزام النص التشريعي وامتناع مخالفته وتغليب التشريع الأعلي مرتبة على التشريع الأدنى منه وذلك في حالة تعارضهما وتطبيق القانون الأعلى في المرتبة واستبعاد التشريع الأدنى من دائرة التطبيق إذا تعارض مع التشريع الأعلى.Original Arabic judgment citations
