English translation of the principle

Prodigality is the squandering and dissipation of property for what reasonable persons of religious observance do not regard as a proper purpose. The frivolity that overtakes a person and induces him to act contrary to the dictates of reason and Sharia is among the criteria of prodigality. - Simple-mindedness is a weakness of the faculties of self-restraint that detracts from sound management and judgment, and its existence results in the person being disadvantaged in his transactions. - Assessment of evidence, inference of presumptions, granting a request to conduct an investigation, and assessment of the state of prodigality and simple-mindedness fall within the authority of the court of merits. The condition therefor. An example concerning an application for interdiction.
