The knowledge that starts the short limitation period. What is meant by it. The burden of proving knowledge in its legally intended meaning falls on the party invoking the time bar. Inferring or negating such knowledge is a matter of fact within the independent discretion of the trial court, provided it bases its inference on reasonable grounds. An example of a reasonable response rejecting a plea that the action is barred by the three-year limitation period.
