English translation of the principle

The law has recognised protection of a particular successor acting in good faith against the grave harm that annulment of the contract of the predecessor from whom the right was acquired might cause that successor. Its condition: the particular succession must have occurred pursuant to a transaction for consideration, and the successor must have acted in good faith. - The litigant’s good faith. Its meaning: where the litigant did not know of the ground for annulling the predecessor’s contract and could not have known of it had the litigant exercised the care that the circumstances require of an ordinary person. Example.
