English translation of the principle

Agency is a revocable contract. The consequence. The principal may dismiss his agent at any time and may restrict his agency even before completion of the entrusted work or expiry of its specified term. This concerns public policy, and agreement to the contrary is therefore impermissible. The exception. Where the agency is granted in the interest of the agent or a third party, the agent may not in that case be dismissed or his agency restricted without the consent of the person in whose interest the agency was granted. - Dismissal of the agent. Its effect. Termination of the agency. The principal is not liable therefor unless he dismissed the agent without acceptable justification or at an inappropriate time, and he must compensate him for the damage suffered as a result of his dismissal. The judgment's contravention thereof. This vitiates it and requires its cassation.
