An action for receivership. The court competent to hear it. The Court of Urgent Matters. - Bringing an independent action for receivership before the court of merits. Impermissible. Contravention of this. A violation of the rules of subject-matter jurisdiction concerning public policy. Issuance of a receivership judgment. Its effect. The receiver becomes entitled to administer the assets subject to receivership. His obligation to preserve the assets he receives, taking account of their nature and surrounding circumstances and exercising the care of an ordinary person in doing so. His role is not confined to safekeeping the assets. He must avert any harm that may befall them by taking such administrative or judicial measures as they require, within their limits, and engaging the employees needed to assist him in carrying out his task. His right to receive remuneration for the receivership unless he accepted it gratuitously.
