English translation of the principle
Disputes arising from a contract agency agreement. Jurisdiction over them. Vested in the court within whose district the place of performance of the contract lies, as an exception to the rules of jurisdiction. The reason for this exception: facilitating contract agents’ pursuit of their rights and sparing them the hardship of resorting to litigation outside the country. Article 285 of the Commercial Code. This exceptional jurisdiction does not preclude the parties from agreeing to resort to arbitration. Article 173 of the Civil Procedure Law. An example. - 558 - Civil Procedure 18- The court competent to hear a receivership action:-
