Subsequent general legislation. It does not implicitly repeal earlier special legislation. The latter applies to achieve the purpose for which it was enacted, as an exception to the rules of the new legislation. The condition for this. The rules of the new legislation must not have been formulated in a manner excluding any exception. Example. - Limitation under the law:-
