The purpose of stating in the originating pleading the particulars of the name, surname, profession or occupation, and residence of the person requesting service. The sanction for omitting them where the pleading lacks anything compensating for the deficiency therein. What counts in this regard is the copy, not the original. - 265 - Civil Procedure
