The jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance is general jurisdiction. Consequence thereof. This jurisdiction extends to any connected claims falling within the monetary or subject-matter jurisdiction of the summary judge. This is a matter of public policy. - The original claim exceeding the threshold for final judgments of the Court of First Instance. Effect thereof. It may be appealed in both its original and connected parts. The original claim is determinative in assessing the value of the action.
