The rule of the relative effect of a challenge. The exception thereto. A judgment rendered on an indivisible subject matter in a joint and several obligation or in an action in which the law requires the joinder of particular persons; a party against whom judgment was rendered who missed the time limit for challenge or accepted the judgment may challenge it during consideration of the challenge brought within the time limit by one of his fellow litigants, joining him in his claims; otherwise, the court shall order his joinder.
