Article 276 of Civil Code

1 - An unauthorized manager shall be regarded as the principal's representative if he exercised the care of an ordinary person in undertaking the work, even if the desired result was not achieved. In that event, the principal shall perform the undertakings entered into by the unauthorized manager on his account, indemnify him for the undertakings he assumed, reimburse him for necessary and useful expenses justified by the circumstances, and compensate him for damage sustained because of his undertaking the work. 2 - The unauthorized manager shall not be entitled to remuneration for his work unless it falls within his professional activities.
