Article 342 of Civil Code

1 - Solidary creditors, jointly or individually, may demand the entire debt from the debtor, taking into account any qualification attaching to each creditor's relationship that modifies the effect of the debt. 2 - If one of the solidary creditors demands payment from the debtor, the debtor may not invoke against him defenses specific to other creditors, but he may not invoke against the demanding creditor defenses specific to him and defenses common to all the creditors.
