Article 85 of Civil Code

1 - A minor, an insane person, and a person of impaired intellect are interdicted by virtue of their status. 2 - A spendthrift and a person of weak judgment shall be interdicted only by a judge's ruling. The court shall impose and lift their interdiction as the circumstances require. The court's decision imposing and lifting interdiction shall be published in accordance with the rules issued by a decision of the Minister of Justice.
