Article 87 of Civil Code

1 - The dispositions of a discerning minor are valid if purely beneficial to him and void if purely detrimental to him. 2 - His dispositions which are inherently capable of both benefit and detriment shall be voidable in his interest, unless subsequently ratified by the person having authority to make them on his behalf in the first place, or by him after attaining majority. This is subject to the following provisions and other provisions of the law. 3- A minor is considered discerning from the age of discernment until attaining majority.
