English translation
A person possessing in another's name may not himself change the character of his possession for his own benefit. That character changes, however, either through the act of a third party or through an act of the possessor constituting opposition to the right of the person in whose name he possessed. Possession in its new character begins only from the time of the act that brought about the change.

ليس لمن يحوز باسم غيره أن يغير بنفسه لنفسه صفة حيازته، ولكن تتغير هذه
الصفة إما بفعل الغير أما بفعل من الحائز يعتبر معارضة لحق من كان يحوز باسمه،
