A member of the National Assembly must: a :- Be of original Kuwaiti nationality in accordance with the law. b :- Meet the qualifications of an elector under the Election Law. c : Be at least thirty Gregorian years of age on election day. d : Be proficient in reading and writing Arabic.

يشترط في عضو مجلس الأمة :
أ :- أن يكون كويتي الجنسية بصفة أصلية وفقا للقانون.
ب :- أن تتوافر فيه شروط الناخب وفقا لقانون الانتخاب.
ج : ألا تقل سنه يوم الانتخاب عن ثلاثين سنه ميلادية.
