English translation
The court may interrogate any litigant who is present, and each litigant may request the interrogation of his opponent who is present. The court may also order a litigant to attend for interrogation, either of its own motion or upon his opponent’s request. Anyone whose interrogation has been ordered must attend the hearing specified in the decision.

للمحكمة ان تستجوب من يكون حاضرا من الخصوم، ولكل منهم ان يطلب
استجواب خصمه الحاضر. وللمحكمة كذلك ان تأمر بحضور الخصم لاستجوابه
سواء من تلقاء نفسها او بناء على طلب خصمه وعلى من تقرر استجوابه ان يحضر
