English translation
The opposition may not prejudice the objector. The judgment rendered in absentia may be annulled and an acquittal entered, and the judgment rendered in absentia may also be amended and the penalty contained therein reduced, but that penalty may not be increased.

لا يجوز ان تكون المعارضة ضارة بالمعارض، فيجوز إلغاء الحكم الغيابي والحكم
بالبراءة، كما يجوز تعديل الحكم الغيابي وتخفيض العقوبة الواردة فيه، ولكن لا يجوز
