English translation
If a person sentenced to a fine is unable to pay it or defaults in doing so, or execution of the judgment imposing the fine is delayed beyond the period specified in the preceding Article for any reason, the Chief of Police and Public Security shall instruct the Public Prosecution or the investigator to refer the matter to the president of the court that rendered the judgment, to order whatever he deems appropriate in accordance with the following rules: 1( Replaced pursuant to Decree-Law No. 62 of 2025
