A search of a person takes place by looking for what may be on his body, in his clothing, or in the belongings he has with him, for Law Index 185 Home Page Code of Criminal Procedure and Trials Law No. 17 of 1960 Promulgating the Code of Criminal Procedure and Trials traces or objects relating to the crime or necessary for its investigation. Searching a person may necessitate arresting him for the period necessary to conduct the search, including such use of force as this search entails within the limits previously stated in Article 49.

تفتيش الشخص يقع بالبحث عما يكون بجسمه او ملابسه او امتعته التـي معـه عـن
آثار او اشياء متعلقة بالجريمة او لازمة للتحقيق فيها. وقد يستلزم تفتيش الشخص
