English translation
The following matters are required in respect of the woman being divorced: 1- That she be specified in a manner eliminating uncertainty, such as by saying: So-and-so is divorced, or this woman is divorced. If he has only one wife and says: My wife is divorced, without naming her or pointing to her, the divorce is valid because no other woman could be meant. 2- That she be free from menstruation and postpartum bleeding; thus, the divorce of a menstruating woman or a woman experiencing postpartum bleeding is not valid. - That she be in a period of purity during which her husband has not had intercourse with her.

يعتبر في المطلقة أمور :
1 - أن تكون معينة بما يرفع الاحتمال، كأن يقول : فلانة طالق، أو هذه طالق، ولو لم
يكن له إلا زوجة واحدة فقال : زوجتي طالق دون أن يسميها أو يشير إليها، صح
الطلاق لعدم احتمال سواها.
٢ - أن تكون طاهرا من الحيض والنفاس فلا يصح طلاق الحائض والنفساء.
