Article 360 of Jaafari Personal Status Law

English translation

If he stipulates trusteeship for two persons, and his words are understood to mean that each is independent, each shall act independently and shall not be obliged to consult the other. If one of them dies or loses capacity, the other shall exercise the trusteeship alone. If his words are understood to mean joint action, neither may act independently. The same applies if he leaves the matter unrestricted and there is no indication of an intention of independence. In the latter two cases, if one of them dies or loses capacity, the judge shall appoint another person to act together with the other.
