English translation
If the betrothed woman purchases a trousseau with the amount of her dower or part thereof, or disposes of it by way of gift, charity, donation, or the like, and either party then withdraws from the wish to marry, she must return the dower in its actual condition: if cash, then cash, or if an asset, then that asset, unless they reach a settlement, in which case what they have agreed upon shall take effect.

إذا اشترت المخطوبة بمقدار مهرها أو بعضه جهازا أو تصرفت فيه بنحو الهبة أو
الصدقة أو التبرع أو نحو ذلك، ثم عدل أحدهما عن الرغبة في الزواج، فعليها رد
المهر بحاله الفعلي، إن كان نقدا فنقدا أو عينا فعينا، إلا أن يتصالحا، فيقع ما تصالحا
