Article 495 of Jaafari Personal Status Law

If a husband or wife inherits alongside paternal and maternal uncles, the husband or wife shall have the higher share of one-half or one-quarter, the maternal uncles shall have one-third, and the paternal uncles shall have the remainder. As for dividing the one-third among the maternal uncles and likewise dividing the remainder among the paternal uncles, according to Article 489.
