English translation
The husband inherits half of his wife's estate if she has no heir, and the other half devolves upon him by return of the residue; he inherits one-quarter where there is a child, however far down the line of descent.

يرث الزوج من زوجته نصف تركتها إذا لم يكن لها وارث ويرد عليه النصف الآخر،
