English translation
If the bank issues a savings deposit book, it must be in the name of the person in whose favour the book is issued, and payments and withdrawals must be recorded therein. The particulars contained in the book and signed Law Index 1300 Home Page Commercial Law Decree-Law No. 68 of 1980 Promulgating the Commercial Law by the bank employee shall constitute evidence establishing the said particulars in the relationship between the bank and the person in whose favour the book is issued, and any agreement to the contrary shall be void.

إذا أصدر البنك دفتر إيداع للتوفير فيجب أن يكون باسم من صدر لصالحه الدفتر،
وأن تدون فيه المدفوعات والمسحوبات، وتكون البيانات الواردة في الدفتر والموقع
عليها من موظف البنك حجة في إثبات البيانات المذكورة في العلاقة بين البنك
