Article 99 of Commercial Code

In a commercial guarantee, the guarantors shall be jointly and severally liable among themselves and jointly and severally liable with the debtor. The creditor has the choice in making a demand: if he wishes, he may demand payment from the debtor, and if he wishes, the claimant the guarantor. After demanding payment from one, he may demand payment from the other, and he may demand payment from both together.
