Article 141 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

Anyone who destroys a document prepared for submission before a judicial authority or whose submission as evidence in any judicial proceedings would be useful, or renders it in a condition in which it is impossible to extract the information necessary to determine an existing or potential case, intending thereby to prevent its use in evidence, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding seventy-five dinars, or either of these two penalties.
