English translation
Anyone who, by a non-public means, imputes to another any of the facts set out in Article 209 or directs an insult at him, without this being the result of prior provocation, such that no person other than the victim learns of the fact or the insult, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month and a fine not exceeding seven dinars and five hundred fils, or either of these two penalties.

كل من اسند لآخر ، بوسيلة غير علنية، واقعة من الوقائع المبنية في المادة ٢٠٩ أو
وجه إليه سبا، دون أن يكون ذلك نتيجة لاستفزاز سابق، بحيث لم يعلم بالواقعة
أو بالسب شخص غير المجني عليه، يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز شهرا واحدا
