Law Index 142 Home Page Kuwaiti Penal Code Law No. 16 of 1960 Promulgating the Penal Code and Its Amendments The justification provided for in the preceding article shall be available only if the perpetrator's good faith is established through his belief in the truth of the facts he imputes, that belief being based on reasonable grounds after verification and inquiry, his intention being solely to protect the public interest, and his having confined his conduct to the extent necessary to protect that interest.

لا تتوافر الاباحة المنصوص عليها في المادة السابقة إلا إذا ثبت حسن نية الفاعل
باعتقاده صحة الوقائع التي يسندها وبقيام اعتقاده هذا على أسباب معقولـة بـعـد
التثبت والتحري، وباتجاهه إلى مجرد حماية المصلحة العامة وباقتصاره فيما صدر منه
