Article 1 of Court Fees Law

In applying the provisions of this Law, the value of the action shall be assessed by reference to what the plaintiff claims in its statement of claim. If the plaintiff amends its claims during the proceedings to a greater amount, the value of the action shall be assessed on the basis of the amended claims. Article 2 (1) If the action includes multiple claims of ascertainable value, whether principal claims or principal and alternative claims, arising from a single legal cause, the assessment shall be based on their aggregate value. If, however, they arise from different legal causes, the assessment shall be based on the value of each separately.
