Article 10 of Court Fees Law

Fees shall be collected in respect of every action for which a year has elapsed from the date it was struck out without being reinstated, or from the date of expiry of the period of a punitive or agreed stay without proceedings therein being resumed. A fee of five dinars shall be imposed on an application to reinstate an action after it has been struck out and to bring forward its hearing date, or to resume it following a punitive or agreed stay. The applicant shall be liable for that fee irrespective of the outcome of the action. New fees shall be collected for the action at the rate of 10% of the fee payable thereon when it is brought anew within three months from the date of the judgment deeming it never to have been brought or declaring its abandonment, provided that the subject matter of the action and its litigants do not change.
