Article 24 of Domestic Workers Law

Without prejudice to the provision of Article 25 of this Law, the Director of the Domestic Labour Department may take administrative measures against the domestic labour office in any of the following cases: a- The office's refusal to attend the Domestic Labour Department at its request, unless the existence of an impediment preventing this is established. b- The office's refusal to hand over the domestic worker to the employer within 24 hours, unless the existence of an impediment preventing this is established, provided that it notifies the Domestic Labour Department thereof. c- The office's refusal to receive domestic labour immediately upon its arrival in the country, or its delay in doing so without an acceptable excuse. d- The office's dealing with returned labour or labour recruited by others. e- The office's conclusion of employment contracts that contravene the contracts approved by the Domestic Labour Department.
