Article 40 of Domestic Workers Law

The licence under the provisions of this Law is personal, and no other person may be authorized to manage this activity. The licence shall terminate upon the licensee's death. The licensee may appoint a manager for the office provided that he is a relative up to the second degree and meets the conditions stipulated in Article (2) of this Law, without prejudice to the right of the Domestic Labour Department to summon the office owner whenever it deems fit. The licence may be transferred to another person in the following two cases: If the licensee exceeds 70 Gregorian years of age, the licence shall in this case be transferred to the husband, wife or one of the children. In the event of the licensee's death, the licence shall in this case be transferred to the husband, wife, heirs or one of them. Transfer of the licence in the two preceding cases requires that the transferee meet all the conditions set out in Article (2) of this Law.
