Article 30 of National Assembly Elections Law

The administration of the election in each constituency shall be entrusted to a number of committees, one of which shall be a main committee to which original committees and subsidiary committees are subordinate. Each committee shall be constituted under the chairmanship of a member of the judiciary or the Public Prosecution appointed by the Minister of Justice upon the proposal of the Chairman of the Commission, who shall hold the chairmanship, and a member appointed by the Commission, as the case may be, from among (men and women, and a representative of each candidate. The candidate must submit the name of his representative to the General Elections Commission at least ten days before the election date. If the candidate does not submit his representative's name, or submits it but the representative fails to attend at the start of the electoral process, and the committee's membership has not reached three Home Page Law Index 91 National Assembly Elections Law Law No. 120 of 2023 concerning Elections of Members of the National Assembly members, the committee chairman shall select one of the voters present to be a member thereof. If the committee chairman is absent, he shall be replaced by one of the reserve chairmen appointed by a decision of the Minister of Justice upon the proposal of the Chairman of the Commission.
