Article 42 of Law Regulating Expert Services

An expert may challenge the decision excluding him by a declaration deposited with the Registry of the Court of First Instance within ten days of service of the decision upon him. The committee referred to in the preceding Article, joined by two judges selected by the general assembly of the Court of First Instance, shall have jurisdiction to consider the challenge. The expert shall be invited by registered letter to appear before it to give his statements. The committee’s decision shall be final even if issued in the expert’s absence. An expert against whom an exclusion decision has been issued may not undertake any expert work until his challenge has been finally determined.
