Article 54 of Law Regulating Expert Services

Recourse may be had to the “Electronic Expertise System” of the Directorate General of Experts, using the approved electronic signature. This system shall encompass all expert work and procedures before the courts, the Public Prosecution, the Directorate General of Investigations and judicial arbitration panels. Data issued by electronic systems shall be deemed the original where the law requires the procedure to be carried out on the original document. The Minister of Justice shall issue a decision concerning the regulations of the Electronic Expertise System, setting out therein the rules and provisions specific to this system, all with due regard to the provisions of this Decree-Law. 1( Article replaced pursuant to Decree-Law No. 149 of 2025 2( Article added pursuant to Decree-Law No. 149 of 2025
