Disciplinary proceedings shall be instituted by a statement containing the charge and the evidence supporting it, and submitted the Disciplinary Council to issue its decision to serve it on the judge to appear before it if it sees grounds to proceed with the disciplinary trial procedures, provided that service takes place at least a week before the scheduled date. In this case, the Council may decide to suspend the judge from performing his official duties or decide to deem him on compulsory leave until the trial ends. It may at any time reconsider the said suspension or leave. The statement shall be served on the judge through the president of the court to which he belongs.

ترفع الدعوى التأديبية بصحيفة تشتمل على التهمة والأدلة المؤيدة لها ، وتقدم المجلس
التأديب ليصدر قراراه بإعلانها للقاضي للحضور أمامه إذا ما رأى وجها للسير في
إجراءات المحاكمة التأديبية ، على أن يكون الإعلان قبل الميعاد بأسبوع على الأقل .
وللمجلس في هذه الحالة أن يقرر وقف القاضي عن مباشرة أعمال وظيفته أو يقرر
باعتباره في أجازة حتمية حتى تنتهى المحاكمة ، وله فى كل وقت أن يعيد النظر في
أمر الوقف أو الأجازة المذكورة ، ويكون إعلان القاضي بالصحيفة بمعرفة رئيـس
