Article 40 of Judicial Organisation Law

The disciplining of judges of all grades shall fall within the jurisdiction of a Disciplinary Council constituted of three counsellors of the Court of Cassation and two counsellors of the Court of Appeal, provided that neither the President nor members of the Supreme Judicial Council shall be among them. The most senior counsellor shall preside over the Council. The General Assembly of each of the two courts shall annually select the counsellors necessary to constitute the Disciplinary Council and an equal number as alternates. The Disciplinary Council shall convene at the seat of the Court of Cassation, and the prosecution before it shall be represented by the Head of Judicial Inspection or the person whom he guarantees for that purpose. )4(
