English translation
The driver of the vehicle must maintain the child's safety while driving, fasten the seat belt and keep the child in the rear seats unless the child is over 10 years old. In the event of injury to the child because of not sitting in the rear seats and fastening the seat belt, and it is considered to result from the vehicle driver's negligence, he shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months and a fine not exceeding 500 dinars, or by either of these penalties.

يجب على قائد المركبة أن يحافظ على سلامة الطفل أثناء القيادة وربط حزام الأمان
وإبقائه في المقاعد الخلفية ما لم يجاوز عشر سنوات ، وفي حال إصابة الطفل بسبب
عدم جلوسه في المقاعد الخلفية وربط حزام الأمان ويعتبر ناتج عن إهمال قائد
المركبة يعاقب بعقوبة الحبس مدة لا تجاوز ستة أشهر وغرامة لا تجاوز خمسمائة
