Article 16 of Decree of 1979 concerning the Civil Service Regulations

The Personnel Affairs Unit shall provide the employee in respect of whom a report with a rating of poor has been submitted with a copy of that report. He may lodge a grievance against it before the Personnel Affairs Committee, and the employee shall have the right to request that his statements be heard before the Committee. The Civil Service Council shall establish the rules, procedures and time limits for examining the grievance. Article 17 (3) The case of an employee who receives two consecutive final reports with a rating of poor shall be submitted to the Undersecretary of the Ministry to consider imposing one of the penalties provided for in Article (60), other than (1) Amended pursuant to Decree No. 111 of 2015 following the issuance of the judgment in Constitutional Appeal No. 6 of 2010 (2) Repealed pursuant to Decree-Law No. 235 of 2005 (3) Amended pursuant to Decree-Law No. 235 of 2005 Law Index 794 Home Page Civil Service Regulations Decree of 1979 concerning the Civil Service Regulations the penalty of dismissal. If, in the following year, he receives a final report with a rating of poor, he shall be deemed dismissed from service.
