What is meant by the divorced woman obliged to remain in the matrimonial home during the waiting period. A woman divorced while present in the matrimonial home, not one divorced after leaving it, being expelled from it, or being outside it. Article 161 of Law 51 of 1984. - The respondent's leaving the matrimonial home and refusing to return to it until her divorce, and not returning to it thereafter. This does not render her maritally disobedient. Effect thereof: no forfeiture of her waiting-period maintenance. The judgment reaching this conclusion. Valid.
