State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Issuance of a warrant by the competent investigator to arrest and search the accused. The police officer assigned may execute it wherever the accused is found, anywhere in the State of Kuwait, and in whatever manner he considers sufficient to achieve the purpose of the search, so long as it is within the period specified in the warrant. - The jurisdiction of criminal investigation officers. General and comprehensive in detecting all offences in the State of Kuwait. The consequence: a plea of lack of territorial jurisdiction is far from correct, and no fault attaches to the challenged judgment for not responding to it. - 163 - Criminal Procedures and Trials
