Notification of an absconding accused. Its manner. Articles 122/1, 123, 124, 125 of Criminal Procedure. - The accused’s flight must be announced, and the announcement published in the Official Gazette and posted in prominent places in the area of his residence, his dwelling and workplace, and any other place where its publication is considered appropriate. - 318 - Criminal Procedure and Trials - Notification of an absconding accused includes an order for him to appear at the time specified therein. That time must be no less than a month from the date of publication or posting of the notification. Failure to observe this period. Its effect: nullity of the notification.
