Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 1257

State of Kuwait · Penal Law · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Finding traces of narcotic or psychotropic substances in the appellant’s urine sample. Sufficient to establish the crime of his possession of either, whatever its percentage in his body. Reason: the law has not specified a minimum quantity possessed thereof. Punishment is mandatory however small the amount, whenever it has a perceptible material existence capable of detection.
