The contract is the law of the contracting parties. The effect thereof. It is the law governing their relationship, and its wording defines its scope and content in light of the contracting parties’ common intention and in accordance with good faith and integrity in dealings. - 377 - Obligation - Clear and unambiguous contractual wording. Departure therefrom is impermissible. Implication carries no weight against an express statement.
