Banking transformation. Its definition: the bank’s posting of an amount from one customer’s account to another account at the customer’s request. - Presentation of the transfer order to the bank by the beneficiary instead of the ordering party. Its effect: the ordering party may not revoke the transfer order, except in the event of the beneficiary’s bankruptcy. - The beneficiary’s right against the bank is independent of the latter’s relationship with its ordering customer. Its consequence. The bank’s liability for its delay in carrying out the transfer and remittance until the ordering party was able to withdraw the money.
