Abandonment barring the hearing of an action while the Majalla of Judicial Rules was in force. Its nature. Merely leaving or neglecting the property and exercising no right over it, without anyone interfering with it or usurping it and denying its owner’s right therein. Does not extinguish its owner’s right, however long the time, nor prevent hearing his action. The condition thereof. That the interfering party does not defend it on the ground that he acquired ownership of the property by long acquisitive prescription. Reason thereof.
